Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dishwasher.
Regular Cleaning of Filters
The filters at the base of the dishwasher must be checked and cleaned regularly to ensure efficient operation. Make sure the flat filter does not protrude above the base of the washing compartment. Under no circumstances may the dishwasher be used without its filters.
Check and Clean Spray Arm Jets
Regularly check the jets in the spray arms for blockages. Blocked jets can prevent the dishwasher from cleaning effectively.
Proper Loading of Dishes
Ensure that dishes are loaded in such a way that the dishwashing water can reach all items. The baskets should not be overloaded as this can hinder the cleaning process.
Use of Quality Detergent
Use good quality detergent in the correct quantity. Poor quality detergent or insufficient detergent can result in unsatisfactory cleaning results.
Water Softening System
Ensure that the dishwasher salt dispenser is filled to prevent scale deposits on dishes. Incorrect settings of the water softening system can lead to scale build-up.
